Seasonings and condiments producer, Vedan Vietnam has recently announced its strategic expansion into the frozen food industry at the 2025 Vietfish Exhibition, signaling a new direction beyond its traditional MSG and seasonings portfolio.
The core strategy of Vedan is to make food delicious, as such all its future products including frozen food will stick to this positioning. While developing its frozen food line, Vedan collaborated with renowned Taiwanese chef Chia-Mo Chen, recognized as one of Taiwan’s top 4 culinary masters, to provide guidance in R&D. One of its standout product is Vedan Sichuan Sauerkraut Fish, which combines internationally acclaimed cuisine with local Vietnamese ingredients such as pepper, Sichuan peppercorn, and rice noodles. In addition, its popular Vedan Golden Fish Balls, initially launched with a salted egg yolk filling, is now available in 2 new flavors namely cheese and mushroom-and-pork. These additions offer a multi-layered flavor experience.
Apart from frozen seafood, Vedan also offers value-added meat products and RTE meals. For example, its Vedan Taiwanese Sausage has been successfully launched across various markets and promotion channels, receiving positive feedback. Vedan has also introduced Taiwanese-style crispy fried chicken to the Vietnamese market.
