The National Sports Council of Malaysia (MSN) has recently formalised a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Bhd (Ajinomoto) to establish a strategic collaboration as MSN’s Official Meal Partner.
The collaboration demonstrates the commitment of both parties to supporting athletes’ nutritional needs as an important component of high-performance sports development, particularly in the areas of preparation, recovery and athletic performance.
The Ajinomoto Group’s experience and expertise in nutrition are expected to provide direct benefits to national athletes, who remain the primary focus of every MSN initiative.
CEO of Ajinomoto, Daisaku Wadami said the collaboration reflects the company’s commitment to contributing to the development of Malaysian sports by supporting athletes’ nutrition through the Victory Project Malaysia, including the ‘Winning Meals Kachimeshi®’ sports nutrition programme, as well as aminoVITAL® sports nutrition products.
“We hope to play a role in supporting our national athletes, while raising awareness of the importance of balanced nutrition as part of a healthy lifestyle and preparation for improved performance, underpinned by Ajinomoto’s expertise in ‘AminoScience’,” Daisaku added.
