China’s Mixue, which is also the world’s largest food service chain in terms of outlets, has recently posted a 43% jump in profit in the first half of 2025, all thanks to its ‘cheap price’ positioning for its popular ice cream and tea drinks. Mixue, with more than 45,000 stores, is known for its ultracheap ice cream products priced mostly below US$1.
Mixue net profit reached Rmb 2.69 billion (US$378 million) in 1st half 2025, compared to Rmb 1.88 billion (US$264.2 million) in the same period last year.
Along with Labubu maker Pop Mart and jeweler Laopu Gold, Mixue forms part of what investors have dubbed the “3 golden flowers” for their outperformance in the stock market.
