Syed Food Industry Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of the Syed Group of Companies, has been awarded the Malaysia Book of Records title for the ‘Most Briyani Dishes Sold in a Year’.
It received the award for supplying 1,460,315 briyani meals in a single year, cementing its position as a leading player in Malaysia’s food and catering industry.
Syed Food supplies its briyani meals to major airlines, apart from also producing RTE briyani in multiple formats for both food services and retail like frozen, chilled, retort and cook-serve versions, bringing authentic flavours to both domestic and international markets.
Syed Group is also the largest consumer of basmati rice in Malaysia, an essential ingredient for preparing briyani meals.
