There is a Vietnamese saying ‘A well-made dipping sauce makes the whole meal delicious’.
Dipee Dipping Sauce launched by Vi Xanh TN JSC in early 2026, aims to fulfill the above mission yet making it easier for consumers to buy a readily-prepared authentic Vietnamese dipping sauce from traditional and retail stores.
Currently, the product is available in 170g, 210g and 450g bottle packaging formats with recommended selling prices for the 170g ranging from US$1.25 to US$1.53 depending on the variants. The manufacturer is also able to customise the packaging sizes according to market requirements.
There are 4 product variants namely Original and Extra Hot Tay Ninh Chilli Salt Sauce, and Calamansi and Sichuan Pepper Sauce. Sichuan and Extra Hot variants command a more premium pricing.
According to Ms Trang Do, Director of Sales at Vi Xanh TN JSC, “Unlike most dipping sauces on the market that are fully homogenized, Dipee preserves the texture of traditional roasted salt granules and selected natural ingredients within the sauce base. This creates a distinctive appearance, texture, and authentic Vietnamese flavor experience.”
Dipee sauces are highly versatile and can be used both as a dipping sauce and as a cooking seasoning. Ms Trang said that they pair well with seafood, boiled vegetables, grilled meats, eggs, rice paper snacks, fruits, dried seafood, dried chicken, and can also be used for mixing salads, chicken feet dishes, fermented pork dishes, or seasoning hotpot broths.
The signature taste combines the mild citrus aroma of calamansi (kumquat) juice with the rich fragrance of traditional roasted salt, balanced by savory, sweet, and tangy notes. While it currently uses approved flavor enhancers to maintain taste consistency, the company is gradually incorporating more natural ingredients such as soybean and carrot as part of its continuous product improvement efforts.
With a long shelf life of 12 months, Dipee targets urban families and food lovers who seek convenient and flavorful condiments as part of their regular diet.
Currently, Dipee is already available in the US, South Korea, Canada and Taiwan where there are large Asian communities. It is now exploring opportunities in Europe and other Asian countries.
