HARR/WOW Quinoa Peanut Butter, a product manufactured by Malaysia’s Morning Arch Sdn Bhd was selected as one of the finalists in the Alternative Protein Challenge 2026 held at THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2026.
This product was officially launched in the 1st quarter 2026, and it was developed to meet the growing consumer demand for clean label, plant-based and protein-rich food options that combine nutrition, convenience and great taste.
The new product has 2 variants namely Creamy and Crunchy variant in a 330g jar packaging with a recommended selling price of US$9. It has a shelf life of 18 months if stored properly.
Kian Tan, Director of Business Development of the company said, “This product is clean label with only 4 ingredients namely roasted peanuts, brown sugar, organic quinoa and organic sea salt. Unlike other conventional peanut butter products, it also contains no oil, no preservatives, no emulsifiers, no hydrogenated oil, no trans fat and no cholesterol.”
While most peanut butter products are made solely from peanuts, HARR/WOW incorporates organic quinoa, a highly regarded plant-based superfood. Quinoa is valued for its nutritional profile and contributes additional plant-based protein and dietary fibre to the product. Each serving (33g) of the product offers 7.5 – 7.7g of protein making it a good option for everyday nutrition.
Mr Tan also mentioned that the company uses a carefully developed roasting technique that enhances the natural flavor and aroma of the peanuts. This results in a rich, nutty taste profile that appeals to consumers who are looking for both indulgence and nutrition.
In addition, its specialised grinding process creates a smooth and creamy mouthfeel for the creamy variant, and a satisfying crunch for the crunchy variant, while ensuring that the product is easily spread delivering an enjoyable eating experience.
The addition of quinoa actually complements the peanut flavor without overpowering it, making the product enjoyable even by eating it straight from the jar or pair it with fruits or with bread, bagels or pancakes.
HARR/WOW Quinoa Peanut Butter is also an extremely versatile product which can be used in breakfast meals; or blend into smoothies, protein shakes and other milk-based beverages; or even used in baking and dessert recipes which include cookies, cakes, pastries, ice cream, waffle and other confectionery products.
The manufacturer is currently looking for distributors across Asia, Middle East and Europe as it sees huge potential for clean label and protein-rich food products.
