Dabeeo, a South Korean artificial intelligence (AI) company, is expanding in the Southeast Asian agricultural market by implementing AI-based spatial analytics and mapping solutions in the palm oil plantation sector.
Penetrating initially into the Indonesian market in May 2025, Dabeeo has since achieved significant growth through collaborations with several major plantation groups like the Salim Group, Tunas Sawa Erma (TSE) Group, and POSCO Group through Bio Inti Agrindo (BIA). Most recently, Dabeeo inked a contract with palm oil company Triputra Agro Persada. In Malaysia, Dabeeo has also partnered with plantation firm Sawit Kinabalu.
“This contract demonstrates Dabeeo’s recognized solution as an integrated platform that combines precision plantation monitoring with field-level operational management,” said Dabeeo’s Vice President Victor Choi.
Under this deal, Dabeeo will implement an AI-based plantation monitoring system on a large scale in Triputra Agro Persada’s oil palm plantations. This technology leverages Dabeeo’s proprietary vision AI to provide a new approach to plantation management, surpassing conventional satellite-based remote sensing methods.
This system enables individual tree identification, plant health analysis, and the detection of changes in plantation conditions through artificial intelligence processing of high-resolution satellite imagery. Dabeeo integrates 3D terrain analysis and land suitability evaluation to provide a comprehensive overview of plantation conditions.
All analysis results are presented through a web-based platform and mobile application, enabling real-time data exchange between field teams and headquarters.
One key feature is the AI-based integration of satellite data with operational data in the field, including the automatic marking of fresh fruit bunches that have not yet been transported from the harvest collection point. This system helps logistics teams manage routes and transport fleets more efficiently, while minimizing operational disruptions such as flooding.
Dabeeo plans to expand its collaboration with other major palm oil producers in Indonesia.
Victor Choi added, “By connecting satellite-based AI analytics with customer data, we deliver solutions that can be directly implemented in plantation operations.”
Dabeeo aims to expand its client base to global agribusiness companies, in line with its regional expansion strategy and strengthening its position in the Southeast Asian agribusiness sector.
