Paris Baguette has opened its 1st store in Laos as part of its global expansion strategy.
As part of South Korean food and beverage company Paris Croissant Co., it has signed a master franchise agreement with local private conglomerate Kolao Group in 2024 to expand its franchise business in the Southeast Asian market.
A master franchise agreement allows the master franchisee not only to open franchise units within a specified area but also to sub-franchise them to 3rd parties.
“The Laos outlet is aimed at expanding our business network in the region and strengthening our global growth engine,” said Paris Croissant CEO Hur Jin-soo.
Paris Baguette aims to capitalise on Kolao Group’s local market know-how to support its growth in the Laos market.
Currently, Paris Baguette has 730 stores in 13 countries all across the globe in the US, France, China and Malaysia amongst others.
