Thailand’s leading sauce and condiment producer is eyeing capacity expansion to meet growing international demand for its products like sauces, marinades and cooking pastes.
Jittiporn Jantarach, CEO of Exotic Food Public Co. Ltd (Exotic Food) is projecting faster growth in revenue in the 2nd half of 2026, mainly attributed to strong export performance in Europe. In the 2nd quarter of 2026, the European market accounted for nearly 83% of Exotic Food’s total sales revenue of Bt 582.75 million (US$17.55 million). Jantarach highlighted Germany as its growth engine with one of its major customer operating more than 10,000 supermarket branches.
Amidst this robust growth, Exotic Food has injected Bt 1.3 billion (US$39.1 million) investment into a new factory at the Rojana Laemchabang Industrial Estate in Chonburi Province. This new facility will support increased production capacity and international expansion. The company has started procuring machinery and plans to finance the investment with about 70% from loans.
Based on existing research and market study, demand for its sauces continue to grow especially in Europe where expansion in retail channels remains possible. Constructing the new factory ensures production capacity will be ready to meet anticipated demand growth in the coming years, alongside expanding Sriracha sauce exports globally.
The new factory project remains on track, with construction scheduled to start in the 3rd quarter of 2026 with completion targeted by 2028. Once completed, Exotic Food’s total production capacity will increase by 26% to 43,905 tonnes.
