Global food conglomerate, Food Empire Holdings is looking at increasing its production capacity to drive growth in the medium-term.
Its snack-production facility in Malaysia is poised to expand by first half 2025, while its first new coffee-mix factory in Kazakhstan will increase production capacity for coffee mixes by 15%. Also, the group is planning to open a new freeze-dried soluble coffee manufacturing facility in Vietnam by 2028.
Food Empire reported a revenue of US$136.6 million for the first quarter 2025, up 16.3% year-on-year. For the first time, the company’s Southeast Asia business surpassed its Russia counterpart which has traditionally been the group’s largest revenue generator. The growth is mainly attributed to Vietnam (44.6% growth) which is its fastest growing market.
