Jumbo opens 1st franchised seafood store in Cambodia

Singapore-based seafood restaurant chain operator, Jumbo Group has recently opened its 1st franchised outlet in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The franchisee is Chip Mong Retail, the business unit of Cambodian conglomerate Chip Mong. The new 6,200 sq.ft outlet is located at Chip Mong 271 Mega Mall, one of the largest shopping malls in Cambodia.

Jumbo’s entry into the Cambodia market shows the brand’s strong intention to grow in the region despite the pandemic, said its Group CEO Ang Kiam Meng.

Jumbo currently has 22 Jumbo seafood outlets in 12 cities in Asia and it is well-known for its chilli crabs.
