Philippine-based dressed chicken supplier, Art Fresh Chicken Corp. has inaugurated a new facility in San Pablo, Laguna, to meet the growing demand for poultry while ensuring a more resilient food supply chain for the country.
The new dressing, processing and warehousing facility is capable of processing more than 14 metric tons of chicken per cycle. Beyond processing, the facility also integrates dressing, further processing and warehousing operations, allowing products to move more efficiently from farms to consumers while supporting stricter quality control and cold-chain management.
The Laguna facility is expected to generate around 400 jobs, providing opportunities not only within the plant itself, but also for poultry growers, transport providers, logistics firms and other entities involved in the supply chain.
The Department of Agriculture said the company’s newly built plant comes as the government aims to boost private-sector investment to improve national food security, while enhancing processing efficiency.
Art Fresh Chicken has diversified into other business ventures since its incorporation in 2019, including day-old chicks, live chicken, animal feeds and medicines, hauling services and liquefied petroleum gas.
