Philippine Seven Corp (PSC), the local licensee of convenience store giant 7-Eleven, is reaching its target of 5,000 stores nationwide by December 2026, partly attributed to its growing presence in the Visayas and Mindanao.
Its 5,000th store is expected to be located in the city of Lapu-Lapu, Cebu. As of first half 2026, 7-Eleven has 4,650 stores across the country, primarily concentrated in Metro Manila and Luzon.
More than 55% of the stores are company-owned, while 45% are franchise-operated. Meanwhile, 300 stores are currently under construction and expected to be opened by year-end.
7-Eleven is aiming for further expansion in underserved areas in the Visayas and Mindanao which currently only have approximately 780 and 614 stores respectively.
