GNT has expanded its plant-based EXBERRY® color range with a high-strength pink shade that supports easy and efficient formulation in food and drink.
EXBERRY® Shade Intense Pink Blossom increases GNT’s selection of pink options for the Europe and Asia-Pacific markets.
Made from purple sweet potato and carrot, its high color intensity provides multiple benefits for food and beverage manufacturers.
These include low dosage requirements in recipes and optimized cost in use as well as offers a lower carbon footprint, with less packaging required and reductions in transport emissions.
EXBERRY® Shade Intense Pink Blossom is a heat-stable, liquid-based concentrate that is especially well suited to beverages. It also offers excellent results in food applications including aerated gums, high-boiled confectionery, ice cream, yogurt, and water ice.
The color is made using physical processing methods and supports simple label declarations in the EU and many parts of Asia.
GNT Product Manager Anne van der Meijde said, “At GNT, we’re committed to driving innovation to ensure manufacturers get the most from our plant-based colors. From pioneering new blends and raw materials to producing colors with exceptional intensity, we’re constantly finding new ways to boost our EXBERRY® portfolio.”
