Swedish-based Zinzino has recently confirmed its acquisition of Singapore-based VMA Life as it seeks to expand in Asia starting with Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand and Hong Kong.
VMA Life is a direct sales company with headquarters in Singapore but with business operations in the 5 countries mentioned above. VMA Life sells health supplements and beauty products.
Kenneth Koh, CEO of VMA Life said, “With Zinzino we will get a strong partner with great products which we believe will perfectly suit customers in our region.”
Zinzino hopes to leverage on the vast experience of Kenneth Koh and VMA Life to expand in Asia. Dag Bergheim Petterson, CEO of Zinzino AB said, “We had our sales start in Australia in 2019 and will have our sales start in India during 2020. With the acquisition of VMA Life, we will get additional knowledge and competence in the Asian region. By introducing our products and our customer-focused sales concept we will create a leverage effect.”
At the time of acquisition, VMA Life is profitable with sales turnover of US$2 million. With Zinzinos products and business model, VMA Life is expected to increase its sales in 2020.
Zinzino AB is a global direct sales company that markets and sells test-based nutrition, skincare and lifestyle products. Zinzino also owns the Norwegian company BioActive Foods AS and the research and production unit Faun Pharma AS.
