Malaysia’s renown lifestyle tea brand, Tealive aims to have 30 stores in the Philippines by end 2022.
Michael Dumaual, General Manager for Loob Holding Sdn Bhd said the goal is achievable as the Philippines is ranked 2nd in Southeast Asia in terms of number of bubble tea drinkers. Filipinos also consume an average of 5 cups of milk tea in a month.
The first Tealive outlet in the Philippines was just launched on 22 February this year at Makati City.
Tealive offers a variety of beverages including brown sugar pearl milk tea, handcrafted tea, coffee and smoothies.
To set it apart from other brands, Tealive’s signature Aren Palm Sugar drink series are made with a derivative from sugar palm and have lower glycemic index than regular sugar and honey, providing consumers a healthier choice.
