Puregold to acquire 14 DiviMart stores to expand into Luzon

Listed retailer Puregold Price Club Inc. is acquiring 14 DiviMart supermarkets to further expand its reach in Luzon.

The agreement to acquire DiviMart from its owners will allow Puregold access to all Divimart supermarket locations which may instantly be converted to Puregold stores under a sublease transaction.

Meanwhile, Puregold is further evaluating 18 additional Divimart locations for possible conversion to Puregold stores.

DiviMart is a privately-owned Filipino supermarket chain with more than 30 stores nationwide and is known for its low prices and wide selection of goods.
