Power Root Sdn Bhd is now exploring plan to expand its premixed beverage production capacity by building a new manufacturing facility in Malaysia’s state of Johor, with an estimated investment of RM35 million (US$8.21 million).
The beverage producer, well known for products like Alicafe instant premix coffee, is currently in the exploratory phase with no fixed timeline on when the investment will take place. This is however, part of the company’s long-term growth plan to expand into other product segments such as the lower-end premixed beverage segment and capsule format coffee amongst others.
