With the Mid-autumn festival just around the corner, Mondelez Kinh Do has announced the start of its mooncake production as early as August.
Apart from supplying to the domestic market, the company has become a major exporter of mooncakes to major markets like the US, mainland China and neighbouring ASEAN countries. Mondelez Kinh Do mooncake has met stringent export quality standards.
This year also marks the 12th consecutive year that its mooncakes were successfully exported to the US and the 4th year in which its Oreo mooncakes were exported to Singapore and Thailand.
With its new campaign called “Finely crafted, to keep your story alive”, the company is set to bring to the market many new products this year.
Meanwhile, its mooncakes are also well-accepted by local Vietnamese consumers. Mondelez Kinh Do, unlike many other mooncake producers, has introduced innovative products beyond the traditional recipes, which have attracted much consumer interest in mooncakes, which was once considered out-of-date.
Hemant Rupani, Managing Director of Mondelez Kinh Do Vietnam said that its new range of mooncakes represent impeccable craftsmanship making the mid-autumn festival richer, while maintaining the highest quality and unique flavors. Its latest mooncake innovation is the Trang Vag Black & Gold. The company has also introduced mooncakes for consumers with special health needs. One example is its recent unique line of diet and vegetarian mooncakes, with up to 70% sugar reduction or no sugar added.
Mondelez Kinh Do has also developed a vast direct store distribution network with an impressive theme design to be displayed at supermarkets, stores and booths across Vietnam. Consumers can also buy its mooncakes through e-commerce such as Tiki, Shopee, Lazada and Grab.
