Malaysia’s 99 Speed Mart Retail Holdings Bhd has unveiled its plan to open its 1st overseas store in Fuzhou, China.
The company said it will also set up prototype outlets in the city, with plans for gradual expansion.
The mini mart operator, listed on the Main Market, did not disclose the size of its investment in the China venture.
As of June 2025, 99 Speed Mart operated 2,894 outlets in Malaysia, making it one of Malaysia’s largest locally-owned minimart chain.
