Established in 2021, Yoajung has rapidly expanded to more than 650 stores in South Korea and operates internationally in Japan, China, Hong Kong, and Australia.
Recently, it entered the Singapore market in partnership with Hong Kong-based company Modu Consulting, which holds the master franchise rights for Hong Kong, Macau, and Singapore.
The outlet at Orchard Road features a customisable menu focused on frozen yoghurt and acai bowls, offering a wide range of toppings and premium add-ons.
At the same time, Aussie yoghurt brand Yo-Chi also entered the Singapore market with the opening of its 60-seat outlet at Orchard Central. Yo-Chi has more than 30 stores in Australia. The Singapore store will resemble its Aussie outlet following the same pay-by-weight, self-serve model – allowing customers to create their bowls or cones with frozen yogurt or acai and a wide variety of toppings from fruits to jellies and chocolates. Yo-Chi emphasises its use of real Australian cows’ milk rather than powder, producing yogurt that is 98% fat-free and contains probiotics.
