Impossible Foods is eyeing on retail sales in Singapore to accelerate sales.
The Temasek-backed company has yet to launch in grocery stores in Asia, however in the US, its retail volume has grown more than 50 times in less than 6 months.
According to Impossible Foods’ local spokesperson, Nick Halla, the meat alternative producer seeks to partner with a large supermarket chain in Singapore. No further information was disclosed.
Meanwhile, in Hong Kong, Impossible Foods is set to roll out its Impossible Sausage at 200 coffee shops in the island. This will later be expanded to other restaurants including Starbucks and Triple O’s. It is the company’s first new product since the debut of Impossible Burger and the response from consumers in the US had been overwhelming.
Impossible Food products are now sold in over 17,000 restaurants, including close to 1,000 in Asia.
