Danone Specialised Nutrition (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Danone) has come up with its latest campaign in August called ‘Generasi Anak Hebat Dugro®’ (Dugro® Great Kids Generation) to support the role of parents in strengthening the healthy development of their children.
The campaign was initiated in conjunction with Malaysia’s National Day theme ‘Malaysia Family Strong Together’, and it carries a message of family, love, and building the character of the child.
The campaign showcases the goodness of Dugro® through the 360° development of the child, including adequate nutritional intake and encouraging the development of intellectual intelligence (IQ) and emotional intelligence (EQ).
This campaign is also indirectly a continuation of Danone’s corporate mission in providing good health and nutrition to the public, including children. Danone Malaysia and Singapore Manager Vera Saw mentioned that Dugro® is a trusted brand among mothers in Malaysia, with its 64 years of expertise having provided nutritional sources of balanced food to ensure the growth of the child.
Saw also said that in addition to Dugro’s ‘Generasi Anak Hebat’ campaign, Danone, through its One Health agenda, also brings the mission of balanced nutrition to children by implementing various awareness initiatives regarding anemia or iron deficiency (IDA). This follows an initial study that found approximately 1 in 41 Malaysian children suffers from anemia and that the rate of IDA was higher in children who are at a lower socioeconomic status.
In response to this, Danone has promoted its Dugro® NextGen NUTRI, which is enriched with active iron and high nutrient content as well as 21 vitamins and minerals, which can support the development of these children.
Danone has also collaborated with the Lost Food Malaysia to channel product donations including Dugro® products to the needy.
