Coca-Cola Beverage Vietnam Co., Ltd. is committed to long term investment in Vietnam as it is optimistic of the country’s growth potential.
Peeyush Sharma, CEO of Coca-Cola Beverage Vietnam Co., Ltd. said that it will continue to view Danang, where it is based, as an attractive investment destination as the government offers good incentives while Coca-Cola will pursue its sustainable development commitments to support both the community in Danang as well as the environment.
Last December, Coca-Cola Vietnam was named among the top 3 most sustainable companies in Vietnam in 2021 at the CSI-100 Ceremony, organised by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development and several other ministries. This is also the 6th time Coca-Cola was honored as one of the most sustainable companies in Vietnam.
In 2021, Coca-Cola switched Sprite from its iconic green bottle to a clear and transparent PET bottle to make it easier to recycle. With this important change in packaging design, Coca-Cola aims to boost the value of the packaging after use and recycling rates locally.
Furthermore, Coca-Cola Vietnam is rolling out a Recycle Me message on its package labels across all its brands to remind consumers to recycle the bottle after they have enjoyed the drink.
Coca-Cola will include more recycling messages in its marketing campaigns and social channels to encourage consumers to recycle more.
