ANKO Food Machine, Taiwan’s leading supplier of ethnic food production solutions, will introduce its latest innovations for the production of empanadas, the Empanada Making Machines, EMP-900 and EMP-3000, in an online demo on 20 February 2025 at 16:00 (Singapore Standard Time). These machines can also be used to produce curry puffs which is a popular delicacy in Southeast Asia.

Empanadas require an oil-water mixture comprising up to three quarters of their dry ingredients to achieve their signature crumbly texture, which led to the development of the original EMP-900 Machine. “With the growing popularity of empanadas, we recently released a newer, higher-capacity solution that can produce 3,000 empanadas per hour, helping large food manufacturers meet increasing demand.”
Launched in November 2024, ANKO’s latest empanada solution, the EMP-3000, gives food producers a competitive edge by combining forming and stamping into one step with customizable forming molds, and incorporating an interchangeable filling hopper to streamline production. “We built this machine to give food manufacturers more time to develop recipes and easily replace the filling hopper when switching from a batch of beef and potato empanadas to chipotle chicken.”
The event will be broadcast from the company’s headquarters showroom, where ANKO regularly hosts international customers for food machine operation trials.
