The AJE Group has earlier launched in March a unique beverage derived from the coconut flower juice.
This innovative nutritional juice under the Amayu brand is already available in Thailand but will soon make its way to overseas markets in the 4th quarter of 2022.
According to Ms Nutthakrita Jaroenyos, Non-Traditional Manager, ASEAN for AJE Group, “This product is the first coconut flower juice of its kind ever to be commercially launched.”
Unlike the standard coconut juice which can be easily extracted from the coconut fruit, juice extraction from the coconut flower is an arduous and time-consuming process, thereby making this a premium product for consumers. According to Nutthakrita, Coconut Flower Juice already has adequate natural sugar content and does not need to add sugar like many of the generic coconut juice counterparts sold commercially in the market.
Currently, Amayu Coconut Flower Juice is available in original and apple juice variants and sold in 300ml bottle packaging, to signify that it is a premium product, with a recommended retail price of Bt 50 (US$1.40).
Ms Nutthakrita said many countries are now interested to import this innovative new product and they include Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Brunei and European countries.
She said, “The main target consumers for Amayu will be the adult consumers of all age group living in urban cities who care for the drink they consume and go for super food/fruit juice to maintain their health and wellness, mind and spirit.”
She further added that Amayu Coconut Flower Juice is a super fruit juice drink and not a functional drink as the formula is natural and pure with no added ingredients nor additives in terms of functionality.
On the front of the bottle packaging, it is clearly indicated as ‘No Preservatives, No Sugar Added, Natural Sweetness’ to highlight on the 100% naturalness of this product.
Currently, Amayu Coconut Flower Juice is available in Thailand but at selective retail channels like premium coffee shops and retail joints, however it will soon be available in 7-Eleven stores and major hotel chains from October onwards.
The AJE Group was established in Peru in 1988 but it currently operates in more than 20 countries in Latin America, Asia and Africa.
