US-based Net Savings Link, Inc. (NSAV), has recently announced that it has bottled China's first hemp beer.
The launch of Angry Tiger Beer coincided with the start of China's Lantern Festival, which began over 2000 years ago and is commonly known as the Chinese Valentine's Day and the climax of the Chinese New Year Celebration.
The launch was a joint collaboration between NSAV and its China Joint Venture Partner, the Blue Candy Brewery, which presently has an annual production capacity of 30,000 kilolitres. Expansion plans call for an annual production capacity of 100,000 kilolitres.
China is the world's largest consumer of beer. NSAV also announced that it is in talks with a major hemp beer producer in the Netherlands regarding a potential partnership, as well as a potential partner in the southeastern United States. James Tilton, President of NSAV said, "I am truly pleased and honored that NSAV has beaten out all the giants of the beer industry and became the first to brew and bottle hemp beer in China."
